Why give?

The bible teaches us – ‘On the first day of every week, each one of you should set aside a sum of money in keeping with his income’ 1 Corinthians 16:2

How much should we give?

2 Corinthians 9: 6-7 tells us – ‘Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.’

Where does the money go?

Your offertory pays for the ministry here at St Paul’s in line with our mission of ‘bringing, building and sending people out for Christ.’ The offertory covers many cost areas including staff, the upkeep of the property and the ministry facilities that we share, as well as mission work.

How do we give at St Paul's?

At St Paul’s Castle Hill we have 3 ways you can give:

1. Push Pay

PushPay is our preferred method of giving. To start giving through PushPay text “stpauls” to 0488 202 202. PushPay is an App that allows you to set up and change your regular giving, as well as making one-off donations.

Yes. The directors will receive figures based on total amounts. The only people who will have access to individual gifts are those in the office who need to know for the purpose of issuing tax deductible receipts.

St Paul's Foundation

What is the Foundation Fund?

The St Paul’s Foundation Fund was set up to receive funds for tax deductible purposes. For example, the Fund can accept donations for the St Paul’s Christian Education Centre (CEC) Fund to reduce debt or build new educational facilities.

Funds can also be used for other projects such as international aid, we also expect to support other future activities including marriage counselling and school scripture.

Donations to the St Paul’s Foundation Fund can only be allocated to areas endorsed by the Australian Tax Office.

General ministry work can only be supported by general giving and tithes which are not subject to tax deductibility.

How does it work?

The St Paul’s Foundation Fund is managed by a corporate trustee company, the directors of which are the Senior Minister and the Wardens of St Paul’s Anglican Church Castle Hill
